Leadership Training

What is Leadership?

  • Leadership is about liberating people to do what is needed in the best possible way.
  • Leadership is the capacity to move others towards goals shared with you, with a focus and a competency they would not achieve on their own.
  • Leadership is about exceeding your expectations.
  • Leadership is about building and sustaining exceptional relationships.
  • Leadership is trusting in yourself and others.

Genuine leadership resides in each and every one of us. Whether or not we choose to unlock the potential that resides within is what determines our future as leaders.

We must have a wholeness of leadership based on a balance of the intellect or the rational side of being human, in balance with the imaginative, creative, heart side, of what it means to be human. With this evolves wholeness or a “holistic” leadership style of potent effectiveness, durability, and value.

Course Content:

Group dynamics – What are they, how do we identify where we are in the group process in its development, thereby determining our most appropriate leadership style, and how do we communicate with the group in each of these stages of development.

Communication Styles – What is most appropriate style for specific situations, communicating with clarity, conciseness, compassion and effectiveness? Other techniques of communication, role modeling, body language, eye contact. The importance of voice projection.

Decision making processes and techniques. How to determine the type of decision-making process that will be the most effective for the situation. Do we involve others or not, and when and why?

Risk Management – How do we manage the risk for ourselves, our group and the environments that we are traveling through. The differences of real and perceived risks, and how we negotiate each of these. Subjective and objective hazard recognition and management. How do we mitigate the risks involved.

Alchemic Leadership – Alchemic leadership presents a way of looking, hearing, sensing, touching, tasting, smelling, and being a part of our environment as opposed to just being a passive bystander. It means taking responsibility for who “I” am in this world.
Alchemic leadership enables people, to connect to the sacred space within. A place where the worlds of the inner and the outer flow together as opposed to apart. The visible with the invisible, the conscious with the unconscious, the natural and the human made to create wholeness and completeness within.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be”?
